JAIS-Valsad - Year of Design: 2015

JAIS Valsad had an "L"-shaped site. Thus, the volumetric mass was placed on the rectangular side, and the volume was perceived as a solid mass. The main objective in this specific school was to achieve an interaction between all the classes, and to achieve so internal courtyards were provided. The façade of the volume was treated with masses, voids and alphabets, giving a character to the school and creating a play of light and shadows in the courtyards, throughout the day.
