The primary target of the project was to revamp the existing nonfunctional building at Gandhinagar. The glass glazing around the building covered the passages, which in turn heated up the building through out the day, making the inside environment unbearable. The design solution was to remove the glazing and open up the passages to natural light and ventilation. This resolved the issue of internal heating and reduced the load on HVAC systems.
